Overview
Aynsley Floyd is a Chicago based freelance photographer whose clients include The Associated Press, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times and Bloomberg, among others. She needed a new site that showcased her impressive portfolio in a manner that let the pictures speak for themselves. Having a designer sister proved handy, as she created the perfect logo and came up with the home page layout. I designed the rest of the site using her initial ideas as starting points.
Using subtle flash effects for the swapping of images and navigation within the portfolio, potential clients can easily jump to the pictures and sections that capture their interest most. By using XML technology, the portfolio can be easily updated and maintained.
