Dear Matt:
On behalf of Federal Signal Corporation, Emergency Product's division, I want to thank you for your assistance in the development of the new website. Due to your talent and hard work we were able to successfully consolidate six websites into one - www.fedsig.com. The final result is outstanding.
The compliments and positive feedback we have received from customers have been impressive. The website now represents Federal Signal's reputation for quality.
Besides the overall appearance, some new features that have improved the site include the quick navigation (specifically the product pages and the Where to Buy section), the site search function both on the overall site as well as the Technical Support pages, and the related products found on the individual Product pages which influence crossover sales. In addition, due to your knowledge of hosting options, we are able to save significantly on hosting costs.
So, thank you again for your talent, service, and outstanding customer support. We appreciate your hard work, attention to detail, and quick response time and look forward to working on future projects with your company.
Sincerely
Jean Staack

Overview
Federal Signal has several divisions, and each had its own website independent of the others. While each site represented Federal Signal, they were lacking a consistent look and feel, which could confuse the company's customer base. Stop Time Studio created a website that collected the information from their various divisions into one fully searchable site. Stop Time Studio also worked hand in hand with Federal Signal's design team to ensure the site reflected the look and feel of this global corporation (NYSE: FSS). Needless to say, the site is rather large, but its navigational and search functionality does not make it seem so.
One of the most exciting things about the site is the custom content management system (CMS) that gives Federal Signal to the ability to create/edit/sort/delete all product and product-related documents, among other areas of the site like tradeshows and other news.
Federal Signal's original websites were created using a Lotus backend. Much of this information was tranferred to a Linux server running PHP and MySQL, for a hosting savings of $6,000 a year. The new site received over five million hits in its first month alone, with over 100 gigabytes of data transferred.
